It seems like everyone wants to look like that celebrity, or their celebrity look-a-like. And then end up losing sight of what they really look like.
There shouldn’t be any reason why women should dread looking in the mirror or unwilling to appreciate their natural skin color, hair color, eyebrows, lips, teeth or whatever, and there isn’t anything wrong with admiring other women’s beauty.
Ladies, it’s time to understand some basic beauty tips from yours truly.
- Get flexible. I have come across a lot of women who don’t know what colors are best for their skin color.
- I say, start with neutral colors. Then, slowly branch out on the color spectrum from where ever you started. And before you know it, you’re flexible enough to find shades that compliment your skin texture and the shape of your face.
- Highlight, highlight, highlight. Enhance your natural skin color with neutral shades of make-up.
- Instead of bright colors of lipstick and eyeshadow, tone it down with some tans and browns. You can do shimmers and glossy tans and browns with just the right bronzers.
All I’m asking you all to do is take a good step back from beauty magazines and make-up advertisements. And take a big step into your own skin, if you will, because you need to embrace yourself, not compare yourself.
Just have fun being you. Enhance the beauty that you already have.
